Abstract: Nowadays, along with the popularity of the semantic web, web applications that use Linked Data are being developed in several domains, such as libraries, bio-medicine and linked government data. The main goals are to publish, share, reuse and interlink data. This has significant potential for libraries, which can create globally interlinked library data, exchange and share data with other institutions. In addition, the resources in a higher education institution’s library play an important role in knowledge sharing, teaching and learning. Therefore, our objective is to develop a website to publish our college library’s Linked Data. We first present the ontology defined classes and properties to describe resources in the library. We then propose three methods to produce RDF data from the data sources. Finally, we outline how to apply the ontology and the use of the semantic web technologies to build a website for the library.
