Abstract

Karl Raimund Popper was one of the great scientific philosophers of the Twentieth Century. He was also a political and social philosopher, proponent of "critical rationalism" and several theoetical aspects about the "open society". Although Karl Raimund Popper's philosophy did not become a school, his contributions were widely welcomed and acknowledged. One of his considerable contributions was the critical method in philosophical and scientific researches. The article analyses the main contents in K. Phopper' critical thinking, its theoretical and practical values and meanings in the current period of our country.
