Abstract: The article carries out an investigation into English learning strategies by non-English majored students in the current context. English learning strategies among students are analyzed to evaluate non-English majored student’s current situation, status, trends and needs of English learning. This is research of qualitative and quantitative combination. The survey is conducted on 378 non-English students at Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communications Technology - the University of Danang. The research findings help English teachers determine suitable goals, content, curriculum, textbooks, materials, and teaching methods for learners to achieve desired effectiveness.
