Karl Raimund Popper was one of the greatest twentieth-century philosophers of science. He is also a social and political philosopher, a proponent of “critical rationalism” and many theoretical aspects of “open society”. Despite K. Popper's philosophy not establishing itself as a school, his contributions received widespread recognition and appreciation. One of his remarkable contributions is pointing out the limitations and drawbacks of the whole-ofsociety approach and its associated model, whole-of-society transformation. Karl Popper argued for the role of the partial approach and the partial social transformation model. This has signi cant implications for the current theoretical and practical innovation of building socialism.vi_VN
