dc.description.abstractPurpose. This study aims to offer a comprehensive view of digital transformation in public sector management since 2008. Second, we explore the intellectual knowledge base of current trends and recent topics of digital transformation in the public sector. Methods. The data were selected from Scopus database and a bibliometric analysis with keywords of digital transformation and public sector management. Of the 1081 articles, 414 peer-reviewed articles and conference papers indexing in Scopus between 2008 and 2023 were finally selected. Findings. Our findings show that digital transformation has been applied in public sector in recent years, though the concept of digital transformation appeared since 2016. The top keywords along with digital transformation are public sector, e-government, and innovation. Most countries in Europe and some in Asia have publication in digital transformation in public sector. Originality/ Value. It seems that this academic paper is the first study examining the theoretical studies of digital transformation in public sector management using bibliometric analysis.vi_VN
