dc.description.abstractNowadays, the majority of parking activity at universities, colleges, and high schools in Da Nang in particular and the whole country, in general, is still manually implemented. Many schools with a large number of students face complicated and inconvenient problems as a result of traffic congestion, which leads to unsafety and pollution, especially at peak hours. Current application of the parking causes lots of chaos, time-consuming, danger, requires high loads of human resources, frauds in ticket management, environmental pollution, and negative behavioral culture of both users and controller. Therefore, the research and application of OpenCV for vehicle plate recognition and QRCode for the management of user and vehicle information in building a smart parking system is an effective solution to these problems. This solution called DSParking will meet and deal with the above limitations and be in line with the current trend of digital transformation and smart city construction. The proposed solution was developed and initially successfully tested at Duy Tan University. The successful system can also be extended to crowded apartment buildings and industrial zones.vi_VN
