Building an Application to Manage Training Programs based on Ontology

Abstract

The Semantic Web is gaining popularity as tools for users to describe content and semantics for resources. The purpose of this paper is to annotate the semantics of the concepts and entities in the educational program. Ontology was developed for the purpose of conceptualizing educational entities in the curriculum and offering a complete and rich course outline to improve the management and development of the curriculum as well as to enable search, match, link and suggest program semantics. The paper describes the methodology and development process of the ontology of the training program as well as the process of managing and accessing the program.
