Abstract: Effective governance structures are crucial to the success of business ecosystems in the rapidly evolving development of digital entrepreneurship. This narrative review combines previous literature to explain the diverse aspects of governance in digital entrepreneurship ecosystems. The paper looks at different governance perspectives, such as Information Technology Management Theory and Policy and Mechanism Theory. Thus, through an interdisciplinary lens, the paper examines various governance models, including the Laissez-faire Governance Model, Precautionary Governance Model, Adaptive Governance Model, Invisible (Bottom-Up) Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Governance Model, and Top-Down Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Governance Model. By critically analyzing theoretical frameworks and models, this review identifies emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in digital entrepreneurship governance.
