Artificial intelligence is increasingly playing an important and pivotal role in transforming education, a strategic tool in improving the effectiveness of learning and teaching. AI tools are now not simply automatic grading but intelligent tutoring systems, providing personalized support, and are widely applied in many fields such as neuroscience, technology, and economics. The explosion of AI integration into the educational context stemming from COVID-19 has overcome the limitations of space, time, and facilities, while providing diverse sources of materials, supporting effective assessment and feedback from students. Engaging and creative learning environments supported by AI, such as gamification, virtual reality, augmented reality, and adaptive learning systems, bring many opportunities for teachers and learners. However, it also comes with concerns and barriers that need to be addressed. It will make learners lazy in critical and creative thinking due to over-reliance on AI. Privacy, inequities in accessibility, and algorithmic bias are issues that need to be addressed based on the awareness and skills of teachers, learners, and administrators. Therefore, information technology curriculum frameworks are actively integrating AI knowledge and establishing ethical standards to ensure the integrity of higher education.vi_VN
