Abstract: | Farm monitoring and management is an important agricultural farming requirement to make proper crop cultivation and harvesting decisions. Depending on each locale, farm monitoring and management will have specific requirements. Still, they will primarily focus on gathering and analyzing environmental data such as temperature, weather, soil moisture, and air humidity, which are essential factors in the plant development process. Collecting this sort of data on a large scale needs a lot of complex work and is normally done by human feeling or using simple measuring tools. In precision farming, the challenge is to collect data from different areas while providing predictions for farmers to personalize farming. This paper presents a novel approach to collecting data from farming environments via Internet of Things (IoT) devices using STM32 family micro-controller with long-range wide area network (LoRaWAN) protocol, combining with Augmented reality (AR) technology to assist farmers in observing their farms everywhere and giving discussion based on the farming environment with real-time data collected from the system. |
