Abstract

With the continuous development of technology in recent times, the country's education is facing challenges and opportunities in applying digital technologies to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning. For higher education institutions, the application of digital technologies in teaching at the institution is even more important because of the pressure from the labour market requiring students to have certain digital skills upon graduation. The article focuses on an overview of the application of digital technology in improving the efficiency and quality of education at higher education institutions; especially the application combining Internet of Things (IoT) technology and Big Data System (Big Data).
