STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Education and Its Characteristics

Abstract

Presently, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) creates a great social impact by solving globally challenges. These subjects crossover and to promote the economic development, reduce the inequality gap and shape the current workforce. STEM have strong influence in economic characteristics, educational characteristics, government characteristics and social characteristics. However, this article focuses on the social characteristics with two main components which are fertility adolescence rate and unemployment rate.
